Helping Wishes Come True

Every wish for a greener future hung on the Gen7 Wish Tree was matched with a donation to Waldorf Highland Hall School in Northridge, CA. Students in the Manteca Unified School District also filled out wish cards during a field trip to the AMS factory, receiving matching donations to their schools.

2011 Geela Award Winner

AMS was awarded a 2011 Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award (GEELA) for Gen7 Schools. Established in 1993, GEELA is California’s highest and most prestigious environmental honor, recognizing individuals, organizations and businesses that have demonstrated exceptional leadership for voluntary achievements in conserving California’s resources, protecting and enhancing the environment and building public-private partnerships.

We’re proud to be one of only 16 award winners. Recipients were chosen in 12 categories, based on their strength in eight key areas, including results, transferability, environmental impact, resource conservation, economic progress, innovation and uniqueness, pollution prevention and environmental justice.
