What makes Gen7 "green"?
Gen7 incorporates the greenest products and materials available — including
low- and zero-VOC products and materials, 100% recycled insulation, high-recycled
content steel, natural day light harvesting, and energy-saving mechanical and electrical
systems — to provide a safe and healthy, complete classroom solution. Gen7
classrooms exceed LEED® and CHPS® standards and are
100% recyclable.
What are the advantages of Gen7 over conventional construction?
The two greatest benefits of Gen7 versus typical construction are time and money.
Because of our off-site manufacturing process we can quickly execute and install
buildings during the summer months, saving precious time. Modular school buildings
can cut on-site construction time up to 40 to 60%. In addition, we purchase materials
in large bulk, which controls costs, and our classrooms are delivered 90% complete,
which lowers labor costs. Time is money.
How long does it take from order to installation?
Gen7 structure installations are complete in about two to four months, depending
on project size and scope, offering the fastest-to-delivery green classroom solution
in the industry.
Does Gen7 have a DSA pre-approved PC?
Yes. Gen7 has the first pre-approved PC for a ‘Green’ building for California schools.
Gen7 is also the first to meet and exceed the new Title 24 compliancy code change.
How much money can I save by installing modular classrooms?
Typical savings start at about 35%.

How are the classrooms delivered?
AMS designed and built special transporters to deliver our custom sized Gen7 classrooms.
Once they are delivered, how long does installation take?
Depending on the size and scope of the project, installation can take as little
as a day. Larger installations require a few days to several weeks on site.
Can a Gen7 structure incorporate restrooms and other plumbing needs?
Yes. There are nearly an unlimited number of options available.
Does Gen7 meet ADA and other requirements?
Yes. Fire, life & safety as well as ADA are paramount with Gen7.
Can it be relocated and what's involved in the process?
Yes. One of the benefits of Gen7's design is that it is as easy to relocate as the
typical modular structure.
How much does a Gen7 classroom cost?
Gen7 starts at about 30% less than design built. Many different available options
